Lauren Kilgore

Lauren is the Past Director of the ASCE Georgia Section Younger Member Group and currently serves as Secretary. She also serves as Director of External Affairs for the Georgia Section and as a Corresponding Member on ASCE’s Committee on Younger Members. She was recognized as one of ASCE’s 2026 New Faces of Civil Engineering and received ACEC Georgia’s 2025 35 Under 35 Woman to Know in Engineering recognition. Lauren is a Roadway Design Analyst at Kimley-Horn’s Atlanta Midtown office, where she works on transportation infrastructure projects that improve mobility, safety, and connectivity across Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 2022. Outside of ASCE, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, especially cheering on her younger brother at his sporting events. She is passionate about helping young professionals stay engaged in ASCE and sharing her enthusiasm for the civil engineering industry.
