Rumbidzai Mureru, P.E.

Rumbidzai is a Civil Engineering Analyst at Kimley-Horn currently specializing in site civil design of commercial, residential, industrial, and recreational sites across the nation. Her work experience includes traffic control, site inspections, sanitary sewer and drinking water pipeline design, stormwater management, drainage design, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, erosion and sediment control, grading, and site planning in the Development Services practice area. Rumbi is a University of Oklahoma Alumna with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a minor in Engineering Leadership. She serves ASCE as the STEM Director, Pre-College Outreach Champion, corresponding member of ASCE MOSAIC, and ASCE Committee for Younger Members. She is one of ASCE’s 2025 New Face of Civil Engineering Professional Honoree. Outside of engineering, Rumbi enjoys singing, travelling, teaching, and operating the Gritty Learners Circle to improve livelihoods and develop potentials of underprivileged scholars in Zimbabwe.
