Georgia ASCE Public Relations Goals

The Public Relations Committee is engaged in creating ASCE position statements on pertinent public policy issues as well as ensuring those statements are broadcast to the appropriate news and information outlets.

Through additional sub-committee work and representatives to key publications, this committee is involved with The Georgia Engineer Magazine, Infrastructure Champion initiatives, Public Affairs Grants, and the crucial state Infrastructure Report Card

Public Relations supports connections between Civil Engineers and the public we serve as well as channels to the governmental bodies we work with and the policies we work under to further Civil Engineers as stewards of the environment. Find out more about ASCE National’s Public Relations here.
