Exploring Engineer Academy 2011 (JUNE 5-10)
Calling all volunteers and attendees…
This marks our 10th year in sponsoring this exciting Boy Scouts of America Exploring Engineer Camp with it’s tremendous success due to the dedicated efforts by you, our sponsors, ASCE-GA, Georgia Engineers Association and the engineering community.
Please consider volunteering this year by serving as a chaperone and/or mentor for the events held at the Georgia Tech campus. Want to see exclusive areas of some of Atlanta’s finest places? This years action packed program includes tours of GT Laboratories, Lockheed Martin Aerospace, Delta and the Georgia Aquarium. Come get inspired again!
Budgeted scholarship money is available to help offset registration costs for attendees who are children of an ASCE member (fees typically around $700). Funds are administered first come, first serve.
Applications for EEA 2011, brochure and tentative schedule are available at www.atlantabsa.org then click on the right tab labeled “Exploring”.
Please pass this link onto prospective students planning to apply. ASCE also is providing stipends to students which are sons or daughters of ASCE Members to help offset the registration costs!
NOTE: We have sold out all slots for the past few years so don’t wait!
For more information or to sign up as a volunteer, email Richard Morales, or Jack Lindsay
